Liam Donovan, senior political strategist in Bracewell’s Policy Resolution Group, explained to The Wall Street Journal that the election results were a referendum on what the country wanted moving forward.
“I think we’ve learned this country has an appetite for what [Trump] represents,” said Donovan.
