Bracewell senior principal Frank Maisano told Inside EPA that President Donald Trump’s swift action to withdraw the United States from the Paris climate agreement could spark some challenges.

Maisano said the executive orders’ implementation “could spark some legal and political challenges, particularly where it intersects with congressional powers or treaty obligations.”

Congress generally must sign off on any changes to related financial flows, he gave as an example.
