Among a flurry of first-day moves, President Donald Trump pulled the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement for a second time.

Bracewell senior principal Frank Maisano told Reuters that it “makes little sense to give up a seat at the table.”

“US industries in all sectors continue to invest in new technologies and innovations that are driving the global energy transition in a way that reduces emissions and protects our economy,” Maisano said. “We should be shouting that success story from every rooftop and in every venue.”
